As the CEO, Founder, and Director of Harrison Psychological Services, Inc, Dr. J. Harrison is a Clinical Forensic psychologist with a commitment to supporting marginalized and underserved communities. She holds a Doctorate and a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from an APA-accredited program. With a direct and interpersonally driven approach, Dr. Harrison aims to help clients uncover deeper self-awareness and begin the process of healing from past and present challenges.
Described by her clients as open, supportive, honest, and “real," Dr. Harrison fosters a therapeutic space where clients feel safe to explore and process their thoughts, emotions, and experiences without judgment. She brings a natural teaching style to her sessions, ensuring that each person understands the methods and strategies being applied. Known for her sense of humor and engaging presence, Dr. Harrison offers a unique balance of insight, encouragement, and authenticity that resonates deeply with those she serves.
Dr. Harrison's work centers on meeting clients where they are and helping them move toward their goals. Whether it's challenging negative thoughts, exploring new coping strategies, or processing difficult emotions, her approach is non-judgmental and fully attuned to each individual's journey. She is passionate about creating a space for clients of all backgrounds—including diverse ethnicities, religions, sexual orientations, and gender identities—to feel seen, supported, and understood.
Outside of her practice, Dr. Harrison enjoys reading, traveling, cooking, and continuously learning new skills. She values opportunities for personal growth and finds that these activities keep her grounded and inspired. Driven by a deep respect for the human experience and a dedication to her clients' well-being, Dr. Harrison is honored to be part of each individual's journey toward greater self-understanding and resilience.

Advanced Practice Social Worker
Victoria is a therapist committed to supporting individuals seeking to make meaningful changes. She received Bachelor of Science and Master of Social Work degrees from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee. has gained some of her therapeutic experiences by providing individual and group therapy to people of varying ages. She has a passion for working with adults on managing symptoms related to depression, anxiety, self-esteem, and past traumas.
Additionally, Victoria has experience providing grief and bereavement support to those who have experienced a loss. She approaches therapy as a collaborative relationship designed to meet client needs in an open minded, empathetic, and supportive environment. She have worked in social services for over twenty five years providing support, crisis intervention and community resource connections. She enjoys music, sports, and immersing herself in new culinary experiences around the city. She looks forward to navigating this journey with you.
Princess Lavan, MS

Ms. Lavan is currently accepting clients virtually at Harrison Psychological Services, Inc. With a Masters of Science degree in Clinical Psychology, Ms. Lavan has obtained several professional experiences in clinical and neuropsychological assessment. She is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology specializing in trauma recovery and neuropsychological rehabilitation.
Ms. Lavan has worked extensively on case conceptualization, test interpretation, and report writing in a variety of diverse settings. She is working to cultivate skills in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). Her treatment approach emphasizes evidence-based interventions, person-centered care, and integrative techniques that also foster resilience and emotional well-being in clients from various backgrounds.
Aspiring to contribute to post-conflict mental health and to advance culturally responsive practices in clinical psychology, Ms. Lavan is dedicated to promoting compassion, empathy, and advocacy for underserved populations. Outside of clinical work, she enjoys traveling and listening to music.
