BRIDGET HUMMEL
A compassionate master’s student at Ottawa University, pursuing her degree in Counseling. She brings hands-on experience from her work as a Registered Behavior Technician with children on the autism spectrum and as a care coordinator for youth and adults. Her clinical approach blends person-centered techniques, trauma-informed care, and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), creating a supportive space for clients to build coping skills and grow. Bridget has also advocated for survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence, reflecting her deep commitment to helping others.
She aspires to become a licensed professional counselor specializing in OCD, schizophrenia, anxiety, and depression. Passionate about reducing stigma and promoting holistic well-being, Bridget integrates empathy with evidence-based practice. Outside of her studies, she enjoys reading, photography, and exploring new coffee shops.
